These can be some helpful things to get you started if you are just wanting to play some on your own or have had some previous experience with the violin and just need some technique books to use, etc. I do recommend working with an instructor when learning stringed instruments, however. Scales are a must for any level! I will list my recommendations in the categories below by each level.
